The above chart is to be used as a guide only as every horse can vary.

Most horse rugs are sized in 3 inch increments and all rugs on our website are shown in feet and inches. This measurement refers to a measurement from the centre of the chest, along the body, to the rear of the horse where the rug is expected to end. If you have any rugs already you can measure these when they are laid flat on the floor to give you a better idea of size.

Note: Height measurement is barefoot from the floor up the back of leg to under the knee while in a sitting position. Calf measurement is widest part of the calf measured over the breeches. Measurements are in inches.

Riding Hats

Measure head circumference at widest point, one inch above the eye. We highly recommend you have your riding hat professionally fitted by a fully trained person. We must point out due to health and safety reasons we do not accept riding hats back. We do this so you know every hat we send out is brand new and has never been tried on by anyone else.
